Spring Lake Country Club

Located in Spring Lake, Michigan, Spring Lake Country Club offers amenities and activities for all ages and interests.

SLCC’s history dates back more than one hundred years. Our founder William Savidge became interested in the new game of golf gaining popularity nationwide. After playing with some associates, he thought it “it would be a desirable addition” to the Spring Lake and Grand Haven area. In the early 1900s, Savidge approached the Soule family, expressing interest in purchasing their Spring Lake property – if it would ever be for sale – for his golf course. Savidge learned that the property was available while aboard the Lusitania bound for Europe. His dream finally came true when SLCC took official form on February 6, 1911.

At SLCC, we offer activities not only during the summer season but throughout the year. We are truly a 12-month club that aims to engage our varied membership, whether it is the height of the golf season or the middle of winter. Come out and see for yourself all that SLCC has to offer!
