Why Nonprofit Landing Pages Are a Make It or Break It Opportunity

A landing page is like a first impression. Make it great, and you’ll have a visitor who’s interested in who your nonprofit is and what they’re doing, who is willing to spend some time on your website. Blow it and they’ll click the back button in about 0.5 seconds.

To be clear, a landing page is not your homepage. It’s a page on your website where visitors enter your website. Landing pages are crucial because more often than not users will enter your site on a landing page, as it usually gets people closer to the content they’re looking for.

Landing pages are all about getting people to take action. Sign up for that fundraising dinner, register for an event, donate money and so on.
