About the Presenter
Jeovany Quintanilla (he/him) is a first-generation Salvadoran-American, and he has worked on the clinical side of an outpatient physical therapy practice for the better part of a decade. During the 2020 election cycle, Jeovany volunteered with various get out the vote initiatives and quickly realized he wanted a career in advocating for progressive policies. Jeovany is the Movement, Issue, and Charitable Organizations Health Associate at ActBlue.
Santiago Orosco Aviles (he/they) is a queer, disabled Chicano from Houston, Texas who is grounded in the struggle for racial and economic justice. They worked at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities supporting state advocacy to protect and expand safety net programs. In 2020, they organized bilingual field, digital, and constituency organizing programs for campaigns in Houston and Austin, Texas. In 2021, Santiago joined the Movement, Issue, and Charitable Organizations team at ActBlue.
