About the Presenter
As the Director of Development at APLA Health, Ken Mintzer brings decades of experience in nonprofit fundraising, development, and strategic planning with an expertise in cultivating relationships with philanthropists and community members. Most recently, Ken served as Chief Development Officer for Compassion & Choices, a national non-profit agency.
Ken also served as vice president for development at the City of Hope, a comprehensive-care cancer center in Los Angeles, managing a $25 million fundraising campaign and supervising a 25-member staff.
Ken earned two degrees in social work, including a bachelor’s from Virginia Commonwealth University and a master’s from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
