The internet is a scary place where you can find out just about anything, or anyone. New findings suggest that three quarters of Americans worry about how much information is available online. A majority of Americans are worried about their privacy, and nonprofits need to listen.
You can help alleviate your donor privacy concerns by doing the following:
- Fully disclosing how data is used and the extent to which it is shared.
- Explain how you protect data.
- Honor your Terms of Service, and make you language clear and easy-to-understand.
