The Internet is Scary, Alleviate Your Donor Privacy Concerns

The internet is a scary place where you can find out just about anything, or anyone. New findings suggest that three quarters of Americans worry about how much information is available online. A majority of Americans are worried about their privacy, and nonprofits need to listen.

You can help alleviate your donor privacy concerns by doing the following:

  1. Fully disclosing how data is used and the extent to which it is shared.
  2. Explain how you protect data.
  3. Honor your Terms of Service, and make you language clear and easy-to-understand.
