Fundraising for the Future—Promoting Legacy Giving Among Donors

For many reasons, the topic of legacy giving brings up an awkward situation. Of course, when we benefit from these donations, the person has passed.

But, in reality, many donors are open to leaving a bequest for our mission after they’ve gone. All we have to do is ask.

To help promote legacy giving, simply mentioning it will do wonders. Like promoting the benefits of single gifts, we can tell stories of what legacy gifts are accomplishing for our mission.
